Hand embroidery on handkerchiefs produced in the 2000s in the Chinese textile factory where my mother worked, 210 × 82 × 9 cm

Each handkerchief stitched into the shower curtain carries a hand-embroidered silhouette derived from a figure in my family photographs. The handkerchiefs were produced for export in the Chinese textile factory where my mother worked. They are now presented in the European market for which such textiles were produced.
