Raincoat, 2025

Family photograph screen-printed in black pigment on doufu cloth (cheesecloth), handstitched onto a disposable raincoat, metal hanger, 122 × 125 × 5 cm

I screen-printed a family photograph from my archive in black pigment onto doufu cloth, a thin cotton fabric sold in Switzerland as cheesecloth. I hand-stitched the printed cloth onto a disposable raincoat — made in China, bought in a Swiss supermarket.
